Cookies and browser storage
Only what is needed to keep you logged in and to remember your theme and language. No tracking, no advertising, no banner to close.
This is a courtesy translation. If the two versions differ, the Italian text prevails.
1. What we use
Heku saves a few pieces of technical information in your browser, essential to the operation of the service or useful only to you:
- Session: the token that keeps you logged in to your account, managed by the authentication service (Supabase). Without it, you would have to log in on every page. It lasts until you log out or until its natural expiration.
- Theme: your choice of light, dark, or system theme, saved in the browser's local storage.
- Language: if you choose a language from the selector, we remember it in a technical cookie (heku_lingua) for one year, so Heku stays in your language; if you have an account we also save it there, so it follows you on every device. If you never choose one, the cookie is not written.
- Editor preferences: small conveniences such as the last tab you opened or an unsent draft, always in your browser's local storage, never sent to us.
2. What we do not use
- no profiling or advertising cookies;
- no third-party traffic analytics tools;
- no social network pixels;
- no sharing of your browsing data with third parties.
This is why we do not show you a cookie banner: the law requires one for non-technical cookies, and there are none here. If we ever introduce different tools, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
3. The sites you publish
This page is about Heku, not the sites you create and publish with Heku. If you add third-party tools to your site (maps, videos, analytics, social buttons), it is up to you to inform your visitors and to ask for the necessary consents.
4. How to delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. If you delete the session, you will be logged out; if you delete the theme, it will go back to the system theme; if you delete the language, it will go back to your browser's language (or to the one saved in your account, if you are logged in). Nothing else changes.
5. Learn more
How we process the data of your account and your projects is described in the privacy policy. For questions: info@heku.dev.
